Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 July 2026

Using Kaevo

By adding Kaevo to a Discord server or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to these terms. You also remain bound by Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; nothing here overrides them.

Who may use it

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement. To add the bot to a server you must have the Manage Server permission there.

What you may not do

  • Use the bot to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone.
  • Use it to break the law, or to help anyone else do so.
  • Use moderation or mod mail features to collect information about people for purposes unrelated to running your server.
  • Attempt to disrupt the service, evade rate limits, or gain access to data from servers you do not administer.
  • Publish commands, templates or content to the public library that are malicious, deceptive about what they do, or infringe someone else's rights.

Content you provide

You keep ownership of anything you create with the bot — custom commands, templates, server configurations. By publishing something to the public library you grant other servers permission to install and use it.

We may remove published content that is reported and found to be harmful, and may disable any command bot-wide if it turns out to be dangerous.

Availability

Kaevo is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. Features may change or be withdrawn. We will try to give notice of anything disruptive, but cannot promise it.

Suspension

We may remove the bot from a server, or block a user or server from using it, if these terms are broken. For clear abuse this may happen without warning.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the bot, including lost data, lost messages, or moderation actions taken through it. You are responsible for how your server is moderated.

Features that modify servers — backups, cloning, synchronisation — can delete channels and roles. Read the preview before confirming. We cannot undo those operations.

Changes

These terms may change. Continued use after a change means you accept it. The date at the top shows the last revision.
